Wall Projector
how will a projector be on a white wall?
i have a finished basment with white wall. i do not know any details, but how does a HD 720p image look overall on a white wall with a projector?
If the wall is fairly smooth, it could be impressive, especially if you are new to home theater. Depending on your “shade” of white, there may be some color balance issues.
I projected on the wall for a few years before I saved up for a screen. But once you have viewed a quality screen, it is no comparison.
You can buy special “screen” reflective paint designed specifically for projecting. I have also seen fixed screen kits where you buy the fabric and stretch it yourself for pretty cheap.
An entry level da-lite is quite an improvement over the wall. I actually got a “richvision” off ebay, cheapest thing I could find and even that is an improvement.
